The Role: Full-Stack Developer

As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll be an integral part of our core engineering team, owning feature development from front to back. You’ll work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and DevOps to build scalable, beautiful web applications that serve thousands of users daily.

You’ll join during a critical growth phase as we scale our platform and expand into new verticals. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with the opportunity to shape the technical direction of our products.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and implement elegant, maintainable, and testable front-end components using React.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS

  • Build and optimize Node.js/Express back-end services to support complex business logic and API integrations

  • Create and manage data schemas, models, and relationships using PostgreSQL and Prisma

  • Write RESTful APIs and eventually contribute to a GraphQL layer we’re planning

  • Build, test, and ship features as part of a cross-functional product team (you’ll work with product managers, QA engineers, and designers)

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and deploy services to AWS

  • Participate in peer code reviews, technical planning, and architectural discussions

  • Work closely with customer success and support teams to squash bugs and ship product improvements quickly

  • Collaborate in Agile sprints and refine tickets to ensure clarity and manageable scope


What We’re Looking For

We care more about mindset, quality of work, and the ability to learn quickly than any one credential. That said, successful candidates tend to have:

Technical Must-Haves

  • 3+ years of professional experience building full-stack applications (React + Node.js)

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with familiarity in TypeScript preferred

  • Experience with React.js (hooks, functional components, context/state management)

  • Deep understanding of back-end architecture, especially using Node.js, Express.js

  • Experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and ORMs (e.g., Prisma, Sequelize)

  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)

  • Git + GitHub workflows and strong familiarity with CI/CD best practices

  • Comfort with cloud services — ideally AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Next.js, GraphQL, or WebSockets

  • Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi)

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

  • Prior work at a SaaS startup or product company

  • Strong UI/UX sensibilities — the ability to spot (and fix!) design inconsistencies


What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months

  • You’ve shipped multiple production-level features used by real customers every day

  • You’ve become a core contributor to our platform and regularly participate in architecture reviews

  • You’ve helped refactor some legacy components and improved our internal dev tooling

  • You’ve onboarded, documented, and mentored a junior developer or two

  • You’ve taken ownership of a major technical initiative and helped drive it to completion
